Optima Marketing was founded by Tony Malin in 2008 to bring a fresh practical approach to marketing

Tony is a passionate Marketing Manager, having studied and gained C.I.M. advanced certificate in Sales and Marketing and studied at Coventry University where in 1998 he gain a Post Graduate Diploma In Marketing.



Tony previously spent 10yrs as a Product Marketing Manager at Schneider Electric who are the leading global player and market leader in Industrial Automation and Control with a global T/O exceeding £10b. His primary responsibility was managing a complete range of industrial automation equipment with an available market of £50m, Tony has proven B2B Sales & Marketing experience spanning 30yrs.

During this period Tony has been passionate about making things happen. His collaborative yet challenging style delivers practical solutions to problems, encouraging participation and ownership. During his time at Schneider Tony launched a number of key growth initiatives including the successful launch of a major channel growth initiative in 2008 involving 100 key Distribution Partners

In 2007 Tony Devised and planned a new approach to training for 50 Sales Engineers and in 2003 he successfully launched a completely new global detection product range to market comprising 1450 references.

Proven B2C experience Over the past 5yrs Tony has also been responsible for the successful marketing of a high class Michelin restaurant in Stratford upon Avon

All aspects of on-line and off-line promotion

Tony has successfully promoted and driven the restaurant forward, helping to gain recognition and drive positive customer behaviour, with increased year on year booking levels. Enabling the restaurant to compete and survive in a very competitive environment
